Alkan Lighting, a.k.a. Alkan Asya Afrika Uretim ve Elektrik Malzemeleri San. Tic. A.S., was founded in 1967. With our market experience of more than 50 years we offer today’s and tomorrow’s lighting solutions with our ALKAN brand in indoor-, outdoor- and decorative lighting, based on the latest standards in the lighting sector.

In our factory in Şile / Istanbul, which has a 25.000m2 indoor area on a 86.000m2 lot, we design, develop and manufacture, in compliance with the quality standards ENEC 24, CE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 for our domestic customers as well as our customers in 60 countries in Europe, Middle-East and Africa.

The design of the products, which we manufacture under the ALKAN® brand name, is carried out with great care by the R&D department. Manufacturing is started only after our team of experts in mechanical-, optical-, thermal- and electronic design and our quality department have tested compliance of our products with national- and international quality standards.

Our company makes substantial investments in eco-design of environmentally friendly LED lighting products that save energy effectively. With our technical infrastructure we aim to be at a level that meets all the needs of the lighting industry.

Our company, which has set out to create ALKAN LIGHTING Laboratory within its own structure, established its laboratory in 2017 which has the infrastructure of optical, electrical and environmental tests in order to make design tests, improve the quality and performance of the products. ALKAN laboratories have a team of expert engineers and technical personnel.

Our flexible factory is suitable for both small and large series and next to the production of our ALKAN brand we are serving our customers as OEM manufacturer as well.
