Aurora Lichtwerke GmbH is a traditional company that originated from the OSRAM and LEDVANCE groups and is focused on developing itself within the lighting industry. We develop and manufacture both light sources and complete lighting systems in designs that are both high-quality and technologically sophisticated – “Made in Germany”.

Based on our more than 50 years of experience as a professional company in the lighting industry, we provide our customers with effective and innovative lighting solutions. This includes the holistic use of advanced LED components in combination with intelligent electronics and the further development of traditional lighting technologies. The AURORA value chain includes all procedural steps – from development, prototype construction and verification to the start of small and large-scale production of the lighting products.

With our LED technology and traditional lighting solutions, we offer both general and special lighting products. Our extensive product portfolio includes light sources, LED modules and complete lighting systems. Traditional lighting solutions remain an integral part of the AURORA product portfolio thanks to their further development and re-positioning in the market. Thanks to the production and development of our modern electronics, LED modules can be produced for a wide variety of lighting needs. Our innovative approach includes the development and production of complete lighting systems in designs that are both high-quality and technologically sophisticated.

With our innovative lighting products, we create new worlds of experience for our customers and develop effective solutions for the lighting industry.

Aurora’s innovative light technology is based on using advanced LED components combined with intelligent electronics. AURORA has an excellently equipped and TDAP-accredited quality laboratory for carrying out measurements in the field of LED light technology. Thanks to our IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certifications, we have a high quality standard for ourselves and our products – quality that is “Made in Germany”.

As a professional company in the lighting industry, we have been bringing the possibilities of innovative lighting technology to our customers for over 50 years. This has enabled us to build up extensive lighting expertise and a broad technological foundation, which our specialists apply and develop on a daily basis. Thanks to our experienced development engineers and well-equipped development and quality laboratories, we are able to carry out the entire development process for products and solutions in the lighting industry. Our technicians and engineers design, program, optimise and automate production systems for the lighting industry. In close cooperation with our development and production team, they develop solutions and implement them – from initial concept through to their handover to production.
