Baltensweiler AG is a Swiss, independent luminaire manufacturer with over sixty years of experience in producing contemporary and sophisticated luminaires in the premium segment. BALTENSWEILER turns fifteen years of experience with LED technology into consistent and groundbreaking lighting concepts for the living and working space.
We are proud of our 60 year history as a family-owned business. The knowledge and dedication of our employees is our most valuable asset. We encourage the personal development of staff because every employee should identify with our company. Our team consists of 40 people from around ten different nations.
Our design team starts immediately with the execution of prototypes, after the first ideas for a new project. The focus lies on the feasibility next to the BALTENSWEILER design language and the materialisation. Furthermore, our team has an extensive know-how in the light technology apart from the traditional tasks of a product designer.
The individual components for the external finishing or for the assembly in the production site are produced in the mechanical as well as in the CNC workshop. The different parts of the luminaires are assembled in careful manual labour and workmanship with great thoroughness and precision in our manufactory. Each person has an extensive know-how for the luminaire family and assures high quality.
The products of Baltensweiler are distinguished by a development and production for the long term use. Mechanical and electronical components have a three-year guarantee. We firmly believe in giving the best service even for our most classical luminaires.
