BlueRange is a wireless building automation system based on its own developed mesh protocol. BlueRange is 4 times more energy efficient than standard Bluetooth Mesh, while still supporting Bluetooth standards. Have a look at our BlueRange concept of a BLE Mesh. BlueRange is designed to be compatible with standard Bluetooth Mesh and to support the standard profiles, but also to be more energy efficient and deliver data more efficient. Our mesh is based on a directed acyclic graph and perfect timing of the single Bluetooth Low Energy connections between the single nodes in a mesh. The BlueRange Firmware is developed for a maximum of scalability, self-healing in case of connection loss and self-organized connection setup. Optimized for a maximum of performance and data troughput with a minimum of power consumption, BlueRange is ideal for BLE and battery powered use cases. The BlueRange firmware can easily be adapted to specific use cases and ensures high stability, security (AES-128) and yet flexibility. Custom modules for proprietary devices can be added.
The gateway communicates via an custom HAT with the BLE mesh on the one hand and on the other hand with the BlueRange server via the internet. Via the gateway you are able to remotely access your BLE mesh network and manage software updates for beacons and gateway OS and firmware easily yourself.
