Canara Lighting Industries Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 1972, mainly to cater to the requirements of lighting system for broadcasting and film industry. During the last 4 decades, Canara Lighting has grown significantly and has become an important global player in stage and studio lighting system. Today, Canara Lighting an ISO 9001 company, is the biggest fully integrated manufacturer of studio and stage lighting system and total solution provider in South Asia. World class manufacturing facility is located at Mangalore, India. This facility is spread over 35,000 sqmtr industrial land. Product range includes lighting fixtures in LED, Halogen, CFL and HMI, rigging equipment, both fixed and motorised, cable management system, dimmers, consoles and various electrical panels.
Integrated manufacturing facility includes consultancy, product design & development, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training & after sales service. Customer support centres are located at different locations closer to customer base to meet their needs. Export projects are a special focus and roughly half the business comes from other countries.
A fully equipped innovation centre is located at the manufacturing premises in Mangalore, India. Innovation centre is managed by specially educated engineers and technicians in the field of illumination engineering, power electronics, optics and product design. A state of the art photometry lab provides necessary support for product design, evaluation and continuous monitoring. Product development and design is facilitated by using advance software. This innovation centre works for continuously developing new products and upgrading the existing ones. The innovation centre also maps technology development globally and evolves future development plans.
