Over the years DBM OPTIX has developped DUAL-STEP™ technology and others multi-layers technologies, allowing the molding of thick optical lenses with very short cycle times. The technology is particularly fitted for high volumes production. DBM Optix is equipped with the best injection molding machines fitted for optical application ranging from 100T to 650T and from 1 to 3 barrels. Our injection machines have been design and built upon DBM specification in order to guaranty the best quality of the final molded products. State of the art peripheral devices such as laser degating station, modern multi-axis robot, tampography station, camera control and automatic packaging equipment are available for low to high volumes production.
DBM Optix offers a full range of engineering services, especially optical design from plastic materials such as PMMA, PC or Silicone. DBM Optix has the best resources for performing high performance optical designs for all types of light sources including incandescent and LED. We also have expertise in the design of light guides and the integration of diffusing textures, paying particular attention to aesthetic results while respecting the photometric values required by standards or laws.
