Established in 2003 as a privately held Canadian lighting manufacturer company, we evolved from producing standard lighting products to creating unique architectural and custom luminaires. We began as a manufacturer of downlight luminaires to the financial sector with a focus on performance and longevity. After lighting industry made a transition from conventional light sources to energy efficient LED's , we quickly and effectively reinvented our product line and moved to manufacturing tailored architectural lighting solutions by working closely with architects and designers and by servicing commercial, institutional, hospitality and retail projects.
We named our company Edison because like him we strive to be innovative, imaginative and inquisitive. As we are an all Canadian company, we aim to use our expertise and ingenuity in design, mechanics and draftsmanship to complement public spaces where people gather for work or for leisure whether it be retail or commercial.
