Ekinex

Ekinex S.p.A. is an initiative developed in 2012 thanks to a group of technical experts in automation and in particular of the KNX standard. After the development of a first set of certified products, in 2014 officially it published its website for the global market, operation that allows it to connect with the many operators of the home and building automation, architects and interior designers.

To date, Ekinex is directly present in 91 countries around the world by exporting its know-how and typically Italian quality design. Our research and development laboratories have created control systems for homes and buildings that combine the value of home automation technology and innovation, the aesthetics of design and attention to detail.

We build devices that make simpler gestures of everyday life. Our scenario is the world: homes, offices, public buildings, schools, hospitals, industries. Our concept of home automation is supported and made possible by the KNX standard, which allows the decentralized and automated management of technological systems of all types and sizes. We exploit the potential of the KNX system to ensure high quality standards for a project that we called EKiNeX.

The residential and industrial building automation sector is constantly evolving. Technological developments anticipate regulatory requirements while standards and decrees regulate the construction and renovation of buildings with an increasingly precise focus on sustainable development and decarbonisation of structures.

EkinexLab aims to provide a quality perspective on the technologies adopted in building automation and design on KNX standards through in-depth analysis aimed at understanding the most technical aspects and regulations adopted at European and international level.
