Engineered Lighting Products

Engineered Lighting Products, Inc. was established in 1985 to utilize new technology for developing more effective and efficient luminaires. Ralph Swarens, the founding president of ELP, had a degree in Illumination Engineering and Business from Oregon State University. Starting in 1961, he worked in the lighting industry as a representative and a designer. In 1976 he started his own lighting consulting firm which ultimately served as the foundation to launch Engineered Lighting Products. Using his intimate, multilevel understanding of the lighting industry, Mr. Swarens created a professional, responsive manufacturing company to make quality lighting fixtures. Today, ELP offers superior fixture design in function, efficiency and aesthetics, combined with knowledgeable, long term staff that provides assistance with lighting design, layout, technical questions and order servicing.
