Hughey & Phillips tower and obstruction lights are of robust construction, are built to last and fulfill both national and international specifications. All our lights are completely non-corroding and low-maintenance. Our product portfolio includes state-of-the-art LED low and medium intensity obstruction lights as well as lights with conventional light-sources ranging from simple incandescent obstruction lights to high intensity strobe lights for special applications. Our power-saving LED lights guarantee a life span that is several times longer than conventionally equipped lights. this is achieved by a redundant circuit design and reduction of power consumption by over 90% of the normal usage of incandescent lights. infrared (iR) LED systems are also available.
As stand-alone fixtures or as part of an integrated system, Hughey & Phillips' low, medium, and high intensity lighting solutions provide illumination for radio and television transmission towers, communications and microwave towers, wind turbines, grain elevators, buildings, smokestacks, bridges, and other obstructions to aerial navigation as specified by the FAA, FCC, ICAO, DGAC of Mexico and Transport Canada.
Advancements in LED-based obstruction lighting technologies have resulted in lighting fixtures with lower power consumption which extends our beacon service life up to 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Additionally, Hughey & Phillips' strobes use unique parabolic reflectors, linear strobe tube optics and integrated flashhead blocking strips to minimize ground scatter light for more community-friendly lighting systems.
