The in-lite system operates at 12 volts (low voltage). This means that the 230 volts of power from the socket is converted to 12 volts by a transformer. This is a safe voltage, making in-lite lighting easy to connect and reposition by the consumer. You will never have a short circuit in your house with the in-lite system. In the unlikely event that a fixture becomes defective, all other lights will stay on. Should a short circuit occur in the system, the transformer will not be affected and the circuit breaker in the house will not trip.

Apart from the basic necessities for a properly functioning in-lite system, in-lite Design B.V. also offers a number of handy extra system parts. The cable connectors, for instance, make it possible to easily create one or more cable branches in order to lead the cable along the various fixtures. And if you want to install an outdoor light further away from the 12 volt cable, you can use an extension cord. The extension cords are available in 1, 2 and 3 meters. This cord is placed between the mini-connector for the fixture and the one for the Easy-Lock.
