A-Light, an established best-in-class manufacturer of specification grade interior lighting solutions, is pleased to announce the introduction of its Mira architectural luminaire. Mira is designed to provide functional illumination indirectly, using ceilings and walls as a reflector.

Mira provides an asymmetric distribution that directs an even illumination towards ceiling and walls, minimizing hotspots and shadows. The luminaires are designed to use both ceiling and wall surfaces to reflect sufficient light into a space to functionally illuminate desks and floors indirectly. Designers can specify wall throw, ceiling throw, or a combination of both in the same run to deliver the right amount of light on a surface. A combined wall and ceiling wash offers up to 2302 delivered lumens per foot.

Designers can specify wall throw, ceiling throw or a combination of both in the same run to deliver the recommended footcandles to a typical tabletop. Mira’s indirect lighting design offers a flexible approach to providing room-filling, functional light while ensuring a glare-free experience.

The luminaire is available in one-foot increments as a pendant, wall mount, ceiling mount, or mullion block mount, in lengths from two to eight feet. Multiple lengths may be connected to create continuous runs; 90-degree inner and outer corners give the flexibility to change direction within a space.

A pendant version of Mira with symmetric light distribution is also offered. It is available with indirect batwing illumination and direct Lambertian illumination, each delivering up to 1153 lumens per foot.

Mira luminaires feature a slim, angled profile for a contemporary look that enhances a variety of surroundings. Designers can play with different mountings and distributions, making it a good fit for the perimeter of a room, along a corridor, or in more open spaces. As a ceiling mount, for example, Mira enables even wall illumination without the need for a cove.

The exterior finish may be white, black, titanium, or a custom color or RAL number.

These fixtures are enabled with the nLight® AIR network control system to manage lighting throughout indoor spaces, reducing energy costs and improving occupant comfort with dim to warm and white tuning.

Mira is assembled in America and complies with the Buy America(n) Act (BAA) government procurement requirements under FAR, DFARS, and DOT.

Angle was designed for high-ceiling applications and large spaces, including auditoriums and educational institutions, airports and transit outlets, natatoriums, sports complexes, lobbies, libraries, and museums.

The high-performance luminaires feature an enhanced indirect asymmetric distribution that projects light up to the ceiling and then reflects down to the surface below. Lighting designers can expect a light outputof 12,151 lumens/foot.

Surface, pendant, and dual pendant mounting options are available, allowing Angle to contribute a uniform design aesthetic throughout a project. Each mounting option can be specified in 1', 2', or 4' lengths to meet specific lighting requirements. And its sleek design integrates seamlessly into the architecture.

Standard finishes include white, titanium, or black. A-Light’s Customer Care team is available to collaborate on custom finish options.

Angle luminaires are suitable for wet locations. Each luminaire features a natatorium-rated finish on the body to ensure longevity in harsh environments. When specified for a natatorium, a clear cover is added on top of the luminaire to protect the optics, and gaskets seal the light engine from unwanted moisture.

A-Light, an established best-in-class manufacturer of specification grade interior lighting solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of its Aloft family to include Aloft 3D laser-printed metallic joiners. The joiners allow the creation of impactful, elaborate lighting arrangements when used with Aloft linear luminaires.

Design options for creating shapes with Aloft have been significantly expanded with the introduction of 3D-printed metal joiner components. Designers can choose from eight preconfigured patterns or work with A-Light's Design Assist team to produce unique shapes and sizes. The suspended luminaires create visual impact in a range of sizes for a wide variety of spaces. A small arrangement can bring illumination and a distinctive look to a conference room, while a large cluster can transform a lobby space with a signature aesthetic.

Three joiner options are available. 90° joiners give the flexibility to create structured-looking shapes in more traditional forms and angles. Organic joiners craft a more elegant shape with branch-like angles from 40° to 60°. Finally, designers can use stack joiners to experiment with layers of light tubes with angles from 30° up to 50°.

Each linear segment of Aloft 3D can be specified with a different light option, or unlit, to create unique looks that can be adjusted on-site. Standard finishes include white, titanium, and black. Choose RAL or custom paint colors to match branding or specific aesthetic requirements. For a more natural charm, seven wood-look finishes are available.

The Aloft family is enabled with the nLight® network control system to manage lighting throughout indoor spaces, reducing energy costs and improving occupant comfort. All Aloft luminaires are assembled in America and comply with the Buy America(n) Act (BAA) government procurement requirements under FAR, DFARS, and DOT.
