This incredible output is achieved through DuraBrite’s pioneering expertise in thermal management and patented LED board technology. The Gen2 Pro offers the equivalent output of three Original Pro units with just two, providing additional penetration power that cuts through darkness and fog.
Gen2 Mini
The Gen2 Mini builds on the success of its predecessor, the Original Mini, offering a significant performance boost while maintaining the same sleek design and compact form. Powered by advanced LED technology and proprietary control and thermal management circuitry, the Gen2 Mini delivers a commanding 25,000 lumens. Gen2’s Enhanced Control Systems for Unparalleled Safety and Convenience
All Gen2 boat lights are designed to integrate seamlessly with DuraBrite’s wireless control system, which includes the DuraBrite 2-Channel Control Box, the DuraBrite Remote Keyfob, and the DuraBrite Rocker Switch.
- The Control Box acts as the brain of the lighting system, simplifying power management and ensuring seamless control of up to two DuraBrite lights. It features built-in electronic relays for overload protection and a solid-state electronic breaker with current-limiting capabilities, marking a significant departure from traditional breaker panels, which have become dated technology. With the global shift towards solid-state electronics, even military fleets—from boats to aircraft—are adopting these systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- The Remote Keyfob offers full remote control of the lighting system, including on/off functionality, SOS signaling, and a courtesy mode to illuminate pathways on and off the boat. When the included long-range antenna is installed, the keyfob can reach up to 500 feet, offering both convenience and safety. It’s also designed to float for easier retrieval.
- The Rocker Switch delivers an additional layer of control, offering a tactile and reliable way to operate the lights. Its momentary, double-throw, triple-position design allows for easy switching between on, off, and SOS modes. The rocker switch also works seamlessly together with the remote keyfob.
Additional Gen2 Features and Functionality
- Courtesy Mode: The Gen2 lineup’s seamless integration with the wireless keyfob makes for an ideal courtesy lighting setup. Prior to boarding, you can simply press the On button to turn on the lights, ensuring a well-lit path on the dock and when stepping onboard. When preparing to disembark, you can activate courtesy mode, which provides bright illumination for safe exiting and automatically shuts off after a preset countdown. This feature is particularly valuable when the lights are installed facing the aft, offering complete illumination for safer boarding and disembarking.
