The body, lightweight and compact, is made of die-cast aluminum with low copper content and high resistance to atmospheric agents. The total surface area allows the optimal dissipation of the heat produced by the LEDs and the achievement of higher light intensity, thus extending the life of the luminaire, without altering its performance.
The smooth surface and rounded lines at the perfection have been designed to ensure rapid removal of dust and water. The luminaires of the ELECTRA series are subjected to the AION coating treatment that guarantees more than 3000 hours of corrosion test conducted according to the UNI EN ISO 9227:2017 ASTM D1654:2008 standard.
INFINITY is the protection system that allows to safeguard the optics by means of an extra clear tempered glass.
The glass, in one piece, is fixed directly to the body, without junction rings, in favour of a more accurate maintenance and essential design of the luminaire. This solution allows to guarantee in the time, also with severe variations of environmental temperature, the constant pressure of the glass on the gasket and therefore the maintenance of the mechanical grade IP.
To ensure the best performance and long service life of the luminaire, the optical compartment is completely separated from the one containing the electrical components. This solution enhances and improves the performance and life of the streetlight. The optical system, the heart of the luminaire, operates at a constant temperature, allowing high efficiencies to be achieved even in environments with high temperatures. The optical compartment is also completely preserved from possible infiltration of dust or water, even if it can be accessed for maintenance purposes only.
Maintenance and control of electrical components operations are guaranteed by access to the dedicated compartment, also in total toolfree version (optional). The automatic anti-closing mechanism and the knife switch, which intervene at the luminaire’s opening, allow these operations to be carried out in total safety.
The optical system SAFE•WAY, refractive type,designed and patented internally by LAB•Light, allows to illuminate the different areas of the road effectively and efficiently, harmonizing visual comfort, high efficiency and optical flexibility. The perfect photometric distribution of the SAFE•WAY optics, combined with excellent uniformity and high color rendering, allows to significantly reduce glare and to clearly identify the different road details, placing visual comfort at the highest levels. The wide range of photometric distributions available, allows to optimize the luminous flux according to lighting requirements. The high efficiency value of the optical system is guaranteed thanks to the use of high-quality materials specially designed by LAB•Light to combat the decay of the flux and ensure color stability over time, avoiding light dispersion and maximizing the luminous performance.

The luminaires of the ELECTRA series are certified for Zhaga D4i (ZHAGA Book 18) preparation, either in the upper (UP), lower (DOWN) or mixed (UP+DOWN) positions, for the connection of presence and/or movement sensors or combined solutions.
