Juno (junolighting.com), an established leader in the manufacture of downlighting and track lighting, introduces a direct canopy mount option in which the fixture mounts directly to an electrical junction box. This trackless alternative is ideal for any single-head applications that are expected to remain static over time, such as lighting artwork, niche lighting, or any other type of accent lighting. Canopy-mounted lighting fixtures can be mounted on the ceiling or on walls, and in practically any orientation.

This new direct canopy mount option is available with line voltage phase-dimming or 0-10V dimming, resulting in greater compatibility with other luminaires in dimming applications. All versions are standard universal voltage 120-277V (MVOLT); a 347V option is even available on most series for commercial applications in Canada.

Unlike with track or Monopoint mounting, with this direct canopy mount option, heads can only be replaced by a qualified electrician, so power consumption remains fixed. This can help simplify compliance with energy codes, giving building owners and inspectors confidence that power consumption will remain constant over time. The direct canopy mount option is also certified for Damp Location applications, making it ideal for indoor or covered outdoor applications that are well protected against the elements (porches, patios, gazebos, awnings, etc.), but might be exposed to condensation and humidity.

The canopy mount option is available on over 20 different Juno® Trac series, giving designers a variety of aesthetics, lumen packages, price points, and performance options to choose from. For more information, please visit their site.
Juno, an established leader in the manufacture of downlighting and track lighting, introduces 2-inch Canless Wafer Downlights featuring an innovative, slim design that installs quickly and easily into ceiling spaces. With no housing required, these miniature wafer downlights install in spaces where most traditional recessed housings do not.

The all-in-one design of the canless wafer downlight features 5 switchable white color temperature options and 3 adjustable lumen output settings, delivering up to 900 lumens, making them perfect for accent, task, or general downlighting applications. This innovative technology gives distributors, contractors, and homeowners the ultimate in flexibility by providing the equivalent of 15 static fixtures in one.

Additional features include:
  • Available in three styles: Flat, Deep Regressed Smooth and Deep Regressed Baffle.
  • Plus, trim inserts available in matte black, brushed nickel, and oil-rubbed bronze to match any desired aesthetic.
  • Driver box designed with a large wiring compartment to make electrical connections easier.
  • Switch located on the fixture allows for choosing among five color temperature settings (2700K Warm White, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K Daylight), 90CRI.
  • Switch located on fixture allows for choosing among three lumen outputs (Low, Medium, High) for ultimate application flexibility.
  • IC Rated means fixture and driver box can be installed in direct contact with insulation.

The 2-inch wafer rounds out a family of canless wafer downlights including 4” and 6” versions also from Juno.
