LMPG Inc.

LMPG Inc., formerly known as Lumenpulse Group, a global leader in the specification-grade lighting industry, announces four new key executive appointments.

First started with its founding brand, Lumenpulse, in 2006, LMPG consists of eight diverse lighting brands across North America and Europe. LMPG is well known for its specification-grade lighting solutions and desire to innovate. LMPG's unique market philosophy drives this innovation: all brands retain and uphold their identities while promoting the flow and open exchange of technologies, knowledge, and ideas between all brands. As the company prepares for its next phase of innovation and growth, four new appointments will secure and uphold LMPG's singular vision and provide a strategic continuance into the future.

Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of LMPG, François-Xavier Souvay, is becoming Executive Chairman of LMPG. In his role as Executive Chairman, François-Xavier will continue to contribute to global vision and product development and the organic and inorganic growth of LMPG by providing strategic guidance. He will also be overseeing risk management and acting as an advocate for the company in public forums, media interviews, and network events. Through engagement with industry peers, policymakers, and thought leaders, François-Xavier will advance the company's vision and visibility in the marketplace. This position allows François-Xavier to use his contagious passion for innovative lighting solutions to enhance LMPG's reach and contribute on a larger scale to the culture and growth of the lighting industry.

A seasoned entrepreneur, François-Xavier has over 30 years of experience in the lighting industry. By the age 23, he was already contributing to large commercial real estate projects in Montreal. He was soon recruited by a specification-grade outdoor lighting company, where he established a network of agents and VARs in Canada and the United States. Leveraging this experience, he consulted for various lighting companies across North America before acquiring Luxtec in 1999 and founding Lumenpulse in 2006. He holds numerous patents and is a well-known thought leader in the lighting industry. In 2015, he was awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Quebec and as the EdisonReport's Person of the Year in 2023.

Peter Timotheatos, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of LMPG, and President of Lumenpulse, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of LMPG. In this role, Peter will oversee LMPG's global management, corporate development, and strategic planning while maintaining LMPG's reputation for innovation and customer experience excellence. Peter's entrepreneurial spirit, creative zeal, and hard-won, diverse experience in the lighting industry will be integral to bringing LMPG to the next level. His mastery of numerous aspects, from product development to production and from finance to sales, will guide and ensure that LMPG's vision, goals, and unique business culture are maintained and expanded into the future. Peter will also continue as President of Lumenpulse.

Peter joined LMPG in September of 2014. In 2022, Peter expanded his role within the LMPG family, becoming President of Lumenpulse Lighting after serving as its Chief Operating Officer. Within the LMPG family, his responsibilities included Chief Operating Officer for the company's international operations and the senior VP of financial planning, analysis, and results. Previously, Peter was CFO at companies such as JLD-Lague, Aveos Fleet Performance Inc. and BCE Elix. He holds CPA, CA, and CFA designations and previously earned a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation. Peter brings diverse financial and operating experience, which he honed during his ten years with LMPG. Peter has a graduate public accounting diploma and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance from McGill University.

"As Executive Chairman of LMPG, I am very much looking forward to pushing the company to another level by remaining very much present and involved in key areas of the business while also expanding LMPG's capabilities and reach on a global scale. This would not be possible without Peter Timotheatos as LMPG's President and Chief Executive Officer. I am confident that Peter's leadership will be unparalleled, strengthening LMPG's position in the market and enabling its brands to preserve their identities, providing even more extensive and innovative lighting solutions worldwide," said François-Xavier Souvay.

Commensurate with Peter's appointment as CEO, Rocco Masella, previously President of Sternberg Lighting, has been appointed Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of LMPG. As Chief Financial Officer, Rocco will oversee the company's financial strategy, risk management and information technology services. Leveraging his innovative spirit and experience with the LMPG family, Rocco has refined the brand's operations to deliver exceptional performance. His operations and finance experience aligns with LMPG's growth and vision.

Rocco holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and a Master's Degree in Public Accounting from Concordia University. Since joining Sternberg Lighting as the VP of Finance in 2020, he has been helping to build a new leadership team and has been involved in all aspects of strategic planning for the business. Rocco's experience in lighting manufacturing spans three well-respected brands: Sternberg Lighting, Exenia, and Lumenpulse. He holds a CPA, CA designation and has previously worked in the Montreal office of KPMG.

John Geagan, previously ALW's Vice President of Sales, has been named President of Sternberg Lighting. In his new role, John will manage all facets of the brand, from implementing its vision and mission to steering its strategic direction.

John's career is distinguished by prominent positions at Architectural Systems Inc. and Louis Poulsen Lighting, as well as Hess America and Experience Brands, where he held various responsibilities in marketing and product development and thrived in leadership roles to enhance sales and cultivate key industry partnerships. Under John's leadership starting in 2023, ALW was able to break several sales records. His deep market knowledge and sharp understanding of specifier needs are essential in driving Sternberg's strategic growth initiatives. He holds an MBA from Boston University.

Peter Timotheatos states, "I share François-Xavier's bright vision of the future for LMPG. We have been at the helm of a successful team for a decade now. I am excited to work with such a talented group of people, benefiting from the vast experience, passion, and ingenuity of all the LMPG brand team members. With these new appointments, we are ready to seize the opportunities ahead, allowing us to focus on meeting and exceeding our customers' expectations."

This change in the organization will further leverage the seasoned and dynamic partnership of François-Xavier Souvay and Peter Timotheatos to greatly expand LMPG's vision of growth and business excellence by supporting organic, innovation-driven growth within each brand and through the acquisition of successful specification lighting companies. Adding Rocco Masella as Chief Financial Officer will amplify and strengthen LMPG's agility for an exciting future.
