Over the last two decades, the original Light Line and Light Line Integra fluorescent luminaires have been used in thousands of applications. Now, the new Thorlux Light Line Retrofit enables users to modernise their lighting quickly and simply, taking full advantage of cutting-edge LED technology and lighting controls, minimising waste by retaining the original luminaire bodies.
The retrofit module snaps into the existing luminaire body, maintaining the direct/indirect light distribution and low glare users expect from Light Line, but with superior SmartScan controls and vastly improved energy efficiency. Thorlux Light Line Retrofit has been certified ‘excellent’ under the TM66 Circular Economy Assessment Method (CEAM) with a score of 2.9.
The retrofit solution provides a highly sustainable option to replacing the complete luminaire. Typically, there is a 68% embodied carbon saving, a 50% operational carbon saving and over 60% of the original luminaire is retained, helping to reduce the environmental impact of upgrading your lighting.

With a maximum output of 37,000 lumens, Starbeam Plus is an ideal solution for large outdoor areas such as open car parks or sports fields. The luminaire’s curved heat sink enables rain and moisture to drain freely, preventing pooling on top. Heat dissipation fins and airflow between the heat sink and gear compartment extend the control gear lifetime to an impressive 100,000 hours. The luminaire’s cradle mounting bracket is suitable for wall or column mounting and features a 180° adjustment range.
