Together, we aim to shape the future of retail lighting.”
By joining forces, TRILUX and Ansorg combine strengths to bring even more value to our customers, with a focus on innovative, customized lighting solutions. Ansorg’s close collaboration with Oktalite, another TRILUX company, means we can now serve a broader spectrum of retail clients, from premium brands to major retail chains.
With this latest merger, TRILUX will expand its product and service portfolio in the retail sector, strengthening its position in this strategically important market segment. The acquisition is an important step in TRILUX's growth strategy and enables the company to tap into new customer segments and expand its presence in international markets.
Ansorg, based in Mülheim, is a renowned specialist for high-quality retail lighting concepts and has decades of experience in developing and producing custom lighting solutions. By integrating Ansorg, TRILUX can expand its expertise, particularly in international growth areas such as automotive and non-food retail, offering its customers even more innovative solutions with real added value.
"The acquisition of Ansorg is a key milestone in our 'Retail Growth' strategy," says Hubertus Volmert, CEO of the TRILUX Group. "With Ansorg, we are not only gaining a company with excellent expertise and experience, but also broadening our range to include customized lighting solutions. TRILUX has officially inaugurated its new production and development site in Świdnik/Lublin, Poland, about 160 kilometres southeast of Warsaw. The German market leader in professional lighting has invested approximately 32 million euros in the new facility to expand its production capacity and strengthen its customer proximity and market presence in Eastern Europe. Approximately 250 guests, including employees, management and representatives from politics and business, attended the opening ceremony.
With the new site in Świdnik/Lublin, TRILUX is increasing its capacity to develop and produce energy-efficient, sustainable LED lighting solutions to better meet the growing demand. The state-of-the-art facility spans 23,000 square metres and offers a production capacity of up to one million luminaires per year, with a focus on products for office and retail applications.
“The new site highlights the strategic importance of Eastern Europe for TRILUX and demonstrates our long-standing commitment to the region. The expansion in Świdnik/Lublin is a central pillar of our global growth strategy and a perfect complement to our production sites in Germany and Spain,” explains Hubertus Volmert, CEO of TRILUX. “With this third plant in Europe, we can respond even faster and more flexibly to local needs and customer demands. Additionally, we are shortening delivery routes and times while strengthening our independence from external factors. These conditions are ideal for further growth.“
Świdnik/Lublin was the chosen location due to its numerous advantages. “The region offers outstanding infrastructure and excellent access to skilled specialists,” emphasises Piotr Mokrzan, head of the new plant. About 70 employees will initially work in production, administration and product development, with plans to increase the workforce to 250 in the coming months, particularly in production, assembly and logistics.
TRILUX’s new plant incorporates cutting-edge production technologies that ensure the highest levels of quality and efficiency. With in-house metal and plastic processing, a modern powder coating facility, and flexible assembly stations, the lighting specialist can quickly and precisely fulfil individual customer requests.
In addition to production, the site features over 3,000 square metres of modern office space designed according to the New Work concept. Spacious, open-plan work areas, meeting rooms, lounge zones, and quiet spaces foster creativity and collaboration. A well-thought-out colour scheme, ergonomic office furniture, and intelligent, networked HCL lighting from TRILUX promote employees’ well-being and create an inspiring and productive working environment. A stylish canteen provides a relaxing space for employees to unwind and network.
The CO2-optimised building complex meets the highest sustainability standards and has been BREEAM-certified. Alongside a photovoltaic system, the site will also feature charging stations for electric cars. The factory premises have been landscaped with native shrubs, a flower meadow and insect hotels to promote local biodiversity.
“Sustainability is a core component of our corporate philosophy. With the new production facility in Świdnik/Lublin, we are setting new benchmarks for environmentally friendly manufacturing and reaffirming our commitment to a greener future,” says Arkadiusz Lewenko, Managing Director Central & Eastern Europe TRILUX and TRILUX Poland.
We are thrilled to announce that TRILUX has won the prestigious ICONIC AWARD. Not only with one, but with two of our solutions. The industry luminaire So-Tube G3 was awarded the title 'Winner'. And the Yonos, our brand-new office solution, even received the 'Best of Best' award.
The ICONIC AWARDS: interior products are organized by the Rat für Formgebung - German Design Council and place a clear focus on the interior product world and honour the best ideas in furniture and product design every year. We are grateful to be recognized among the industry's best, especially with this being the first year we participated in the contest.
The festive award ceremony and exclusive exhibition took place during the Milan Design Week last Tuesday. Our product managers Inga Keur and Alexa Böhm have been present in Milan to receive the Awards. A big thank you to them and their incredible teams who worked tirelessly to bring these products to life, and to our loyal customers for their continued support and inspiration.
Light + Building 2024 was a complete success for TRILUX, the German market leader for professional lighting. Our visitors took the opportunity to explore and discuss pioneering innovations across OFFICE, INDUSTRY, OUTDOOR and digital sectors at the TRILUX booth. "The market demands solutions that not only meet the increased demands for quality, SUSTAINABILITY, smartness and design but are also user-friendly and safe. They must simplify planning processes and remain flexible to adapt to future challenges," says Joachim Geiger, CSO & CMO TRILUX, summarizing key industry trends. "Our innovations provide exactly the right solutions," says Geiger. All information on the trade fair highlights is available for download.
This year, TRILUX opted for a holistic stand concept with a marketplace character, fostering more experiential engagement, exchange, and atmosphere rather than a traditional product presentation. Innovations were showcased in ‘skyboxes‘, expansive cubes suspended above the stand, creating a unique experiential space for luminaires and the LIVELINK LIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. Associated information screens and hands-on areas provided product context, enabling visitors to take a closer look at the LUMINAIRES. A varied supporting program featuring keynotes and expert talks offered comprehensive insights into sustainability, digitalization and lighting quality alongside exclusive presentations on topics like New Work and pioneering architectural concepts by GRAFT Architects.
Two new modular systems, YONOS for office applications and the E-LINE PRO for industry, were particularly noteworthy. The modular design and extensive selection of application-specific optics, luminaire modules, and functional components, offer nearly limitless possibilities for customization and adaption, making systems more flexible, secure and appealing. "Given their substantial advantages, smart and adaptable systems are poised for long-term success," concludes Joachim Geiger.
YONOS: ONE SYSTEM FOR THE ENTIRE OFFICE
In response to the evolving world of work, characterized by flexible models such as remote work and the principles of New Work, companies seek to illuminate office spaces to meet standards while also making them attractive and future-proof. Interest in the new YONOS modular office system, which consolidates TRILUX‘s expertise in functional and decorative lighting into a single system, was correspondingly high. YONOS‘s modular design offers tailored solutions for every office lighting task, from standard-compliant, glare-free workplace lighting and linear light for circulation zones to spotlight modules for impressive lighting accents, available as individual luminaires, continuous lines or L, T or X configurations. YONOS‘s versatility enables holistic lighting concepts in a consistent design language, whether classic or New Work, while simplifying planning, installation, smart functionality and maintenance.
E-LINE PRO: MAXIMUM PLANNING AND DESIGN FREEDOM
The new E-Line Pro also impressed with its unparalleled versatility. A new support profile with continuous current routing allows flexible positioning of optics, luminaire modules and functional components along the continuous line. For the first time, TRILUX introduces a module with an indirect component to the E-Line portfolio, expanding its applications beyond industry into sectors like education and RETAIL. Experts were equally impressed by the lightning-fast and simple installation of the E-Line Pro, which averages just 33 seconds – an improvement of 25 per cent over the E-Line Next LED.
MPRESSIVE INNOVATIONS: EXPERIENCE THEM EVEN AFTER THE TRADE FAIR
In addition to YONOS and the E-Line Pro, TRILUX unveiled many other innovations, including the new LIVELINK ONE app for plug-and-play lighting management. "The positive feedback on our LiveLink ONE app shows how open the industry is to light management - if installation and operation are simple and safe," said Geiger. TRILUX also underlined its position as a leading supplier and industry pioneer in terms of lighting quality with the introduction of LOW CONTRAST LIGHT TECHNOLOGY, bringing exceptionally pleasant and high-quality light to outdoor spaces.
Good news for those unable to attend Light + Building 2024 or those who are keen to learn more: TRILUX offers the opportunity to experience innovations live and in action beyond the trade fair, at one of the 6 Germany-wide competence centers or SHOWROOMS across Europe.
Whether as a single luminaire or continuous row, surface-mounted or suspended, flat light or spotlight: The ultra-flexible YONOS lighting system fulfills all normative and decorative lighting tasks in the office. Clever: thanks to removable and convertible base elements and interchangeable modules, it adapts effortlessly to changes in the room.
Yonos is the new, universal lighting system for the offices of today and tomorrow: modular, connective and adaptive. Has the tenant or use of the space changed? Yonos simply changes with them. With flush-mounted linear inserts and spotlights, Rail as 230V track is as elegant and minimalist as only low voltage systems can be. Nuanced lighting concepts for workstations, room zones and circulation areas: the versatile Sonnos range of downlights leaves nothing to be desired.
At Light + Building - March 3 – 8 - we're showcasing sustainable and flexible systems for office, industry, and outdoor, along with our plug-and-play light management. So, make sure to plan your visit to our booth: Hall 5.1, Stand B30.
The new LiveLink ONE app opens up the whole world of light management with a single click. The entire system is automatically fully functional and can then be intuitively adapted to the individual project. Even complex lighting systems can be configured and controlled with ease.
LiveLink is ready for operation and fully functional right from the first start. All system devices are recognised automatically and can be easily adapted to the individual project via the user-friendly LiveLink ONE app. Highly practical: configuring the system can be carried out by the electrical contractor in any sequence – functionality is always maintained.
An LED solution controlled with LiveLink reduces energy consumption by up to 85% compared to unregulated conventional lighting systems. This also lowers energy costs for the lighting and reduces the own carbon footprint. Light management is already mandatory in many tenders and certifications.
Intelligent light management increases the quality of light and enhances visual comfort. LiveLink ONE offers numerous pre-set features such as Human Centric Lighting as well as functions for daylight-dependent control and presence control. In addition, light scenes can be flexibly programmed and called up at the touch of a button either via push-button or app, which means: always exactly the right light for the various tasks and individual needs.
With the LiveLink ONE app, luminaires can be individually grouped and controlled. The newly integrated Multiroom function enables both individual control of individual rooms and central, room-wide control. This optimizes the utilization of a DALI line and simplifies commissioning, as only one controller is required.
Get the app on your smartphone or tablet and see for yourself what the new LiveLink ONE app can do. Available from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
The modular luminaire family combines maximum versatility with a uniformly attractive design. Available in three shapes* - round, square, linear - and in nine sizes, the range-typical minimalist geometric design and high-quality feel of OLISQ ensure a unified appearance and performance, visually, in terms of lighting technology and functionally. This enables uniquely attractive architectural design with light and luminaires.
Where simple hemispherical "kneecap" luminaires were used in the past, OLISQ now provides excellent, uniform light and an attractive ambience with its new but universal light distributions. A wide range of mounting methods, sizes and accessories for wall and ceiling illumination offer every freedom for tailor-made solutions optimised for the specific application. Subsequent modifications are also quick and easy to implement, e.g. colour individualisation or functional upgrades.
Clever features enable lightning-fast installation using a click system, as well as efficient and clean 1:1 refurbishment of many existing solutions by using existing drilling and feed points. In addition, all components are arranged in the box in mounting sequence, which speeds up installation and prevents damage and soiling. Service and maintenance is also user-friendly and sustainable. The OLISQ is made of high quality components, can be easily disassembled and the LED module can be replaced without tools.
The OLISQ can be used to equip all typical movement and meeting zones in buildings with a single series. There is a choice of two luminous fluxes per size, two light colours and an Active variant, two protection ratings (IP40 for standard cases and IP54 for e.g. sanitary and shower rooms), two diffuser materials (PC and PMMA) and two impact strengths (IK03 and IK08).
The purist, filigree design of the luminaire family harmonises with a wide range of architecture and enhances it with excellent light and a minimalist design. In particular, a combination of the various shapes, mounting types, colours and features such as wall or ceiling illumination creates new, perfectly illuminated attractive spaces without sacrificing functionality. Range-typical elements such as the finely structured, high quality diffuser look and feel, the flatness and the precise geometric edges make the luminaires an eye-catcher even in switched off state.
