Jiaoguang Lighting is one of China's pioneer lighting manufacturers who fully embraced international standards and proactively participated in product certification programs for international market entry. Started as a manufacturer of Christmas lights, the company got its first UL listing in 1991, one year later it acquired the GS certificate. Jiaoguang had a long history of engagement in LED technology. Soon after the invention of white LEDs the company launched its LED packaging lines in 1998. Nevertheless the company's transition into today's high performance LED lighting has been painful and lengthy. It was until 2007 Jiaoguang started its LED luminaire manufacturing business. Its culture of deep involvement in product certifications differentiates itself from other LED lighting manufacturers. In 2010 the company’s LED street lights, LED tube lights, LED downlights and LED bulbs received their UL listings and CE certificates. Jiaoguang was the first Chinese lighting manufacturer to have their products listed in the Design Light Consortium (DLC) and Energy Star programs. The company also holds certifications and qualifications including CSA, VDE, TUV, KEMA, NF, IMQ, BS, CQC, FCC, Title 24, and Lighting Facts, etc.

Unlike many other manufacturers whose wide range of LED luminaries are made to order or even outsourced, Jiaoguang's diversified product portfolio are designed, engineered and manufactured in-house to highest quality and craftsmanship standards in the industry. Located in Taizhou, Zhejiang, Jiaoguang operates a vast manufacturing facility that covers an area of 100,000 square meters.
