Beautiful, tunable, and customizable, Ketra is a revolution in LED lighting. Built from scratch and boasting dozens of patented innovations, our advanced system opens up a whole new world for today’s designers —and supports how humans experience indoor environments in the modern age.
Ketra's High Def Palette uses a four-channel tunable LED system composed of red, green, blue, and white LEDs. Our four channel system produces the widest spectrum available, from 1,400K to 10,000K, enabling us to range from "warm candlelight glow” to “cool arctic sky.”
Proprietary color mixing and driver technology enable us to generate very high quality white light with a high degree of precision -- a color rendering index (CRI) and R9 greater than 90 can be achieved at any point from 2,700K to 5,000K. The result is our Dynamic Spectrum: a full color gamut of tunability that can achieve excellent color rendering and quality white light from a single source.
Ketra’s High Def palette enables users to customize a space for each occupant and task and adapt that space as needs evolve. If the space is repurposed in the future, the lighting can again be tailored to the new needs of the space and occupants.
Beyond its unprecedented range of color temperatures, Ketra has developed an advanced calibration system that maintains a precise color output. Ketra's Color Lock preservation system features optical and thermal control mechanisms that constantly monitor light output, and automatically adjust to maintain consistent color over its lifetime.
The key to Ketra’s Natural Light solution is the patented technology that allows us to shift in color temperature and intensity across a dynamic, near-infinite spectrum of correlated color temperatures. Thanks to our custom chip and emitter design, the power to create these colors—and every other color in between—is harnessed at your fingertips.
