CECEP Lattice Lighting Co., Ltd. is a research-driven LED lighting manufacturer dedicated to the development of energy efficient lighting solutions that provide a positive economic and environmental impact. Unlike the majority of China's lighting manufacturers that are privately owned businesses, Lattice Lighting is a subsidiary of China Energy Conservation and Environment Protection (CECEP), a government-owned company of China. It's this background that makes Lattice Lighting an ambitious, aggressive and exceptional company that positions itself as not only a lighting manufacturer, but also a competitive provider of complete packages of energy-efficient lighting solutions that help its customers reduce energy costs, environmental footprints and electricity use.
Lattice Lighting also has a compelling technology portfolio that differentiates itself from industry peers and gives the company tremendous advantage in both product and brand development. The company is selected for undertaking the 863 program (China's State High-Tech Development Plan) for the fundamental research of solid state lighting technology. Its R&D center is an NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission) approved research body to undertake projects from National Joint Engineering Research Center for Solid State Lighting. Lattice Lighting won the first prize of the 2015 National Science and Technology Invention Award for the "High Efficacy GaN-on-Si Blue LED" technology that was jointly developed by CECEP Lattice Lighting Co., Ltd., Lattice Power, Nanchang University, and the CECEP Group. Currently there coexists three LED technology routes in the LED lighting industry – sapphire substrate, silicon carbide substrate and silicon substrate. While the first two of these technologies have been the Intellectual property (IP) of the companies from United Sates and Japan, the breakthrough in silicon substrate technology was reported to bring quantified technological and economic benefits to China's LED lighting industry.
With a rich and diverse background, Lattice Lighting executes an aggressive growth strategy highlighted by its proactive involvement in the street lighting market, an essential public service but occupies a significant share of a city's energy budget. Energy efficiency is a critical component to a sustainable environment. Lattice' market strategy is focused on building value chains around energy efficiency. The company's business model is structured around professional project management and flexible service contracts e.g., through an energy management contract (EMC), public-private partnership (PPP) or build-operate-transfer (BOT) model.
Lattice Lighting develops and manufactures a quality line of energy efficient LED luminaires to support its growth strategy. These products include LED street lights, LED tunnel lights, LED high mast lights, LED flood lights, LED area lights, LED high bay lights and modular LED light engines. The modular design of its products provides a complete and scalable solution to accommodates different lighting requirements and future upgrades. Lattice Lighting also holds a synchronized product development roadmap for intelligent street lighting to embrace the exciting opportunities created by the mass deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure.
