Shenzhen Leifei Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Shenzhen Litemagic Technologies Co., Ltd., is a fully owned subsidiary of Signify. The company specializes in integrated solution for urban landscape lighting, commercial architectural lighting, cultural tourism lighting, road & bridge lighting.
Leifei Lighting has established two manufacturing bases in Shenzhen and Foshan city, with a total area of about 20,000sqms and about 500 workers. The company implements strict quality management and manufacturing standards, and has obtained ISO 9001 quality management system certification, ISO14001 environmental management system certification, and OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system certification. The 2 plants are equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory, fully and semi-automatic machines, and are continuously optimizing the production process to ensure high efficiency and reliable quality.
Founded in 2004, LiteMagic Technologies is located in Shenzhen and generated annual sales of approximately EUR 32 million in 2017. Its broad and cost-competitive product portfolio is complementary to that of Philips Lighting. LiteMagic Technologies is able to swiftly implement city-wide lighting projects and customize products to meet its customers’ needs.
Signify's acquisition in 2018 expands its high-end portfolio of façade lighting with a complementary portfolio of luminaires and control systems to capture growth in the mid segment of the urban market. It also helps the company to better capitalize on the large and fast-growing market for urban lighting in China.
LiteMagic Technologies has a strong foothold in many cities in China and significant expertise in urban lighting. Together with LiteMagic Technologies Signify will bring a complementary and comprehensive portfolio of products, systems and services to the growing number of cities in China looking to turn buildings, bridges and boulevards into beautiful public spaces at night.
After joining Signify, the company was renamed to "Shenzhen Leifei Lighting Technology Co., Ltd." and continues to operate in China under the LiteMagic brand name.
