Wing inspection lights are installed on each side of the fuselage and aimed rearward to illuminate the wing leading edge, engine air intake and propeller. They are often used during hours of darkness to help the crew and maintenance personnel perform visual inspection of the engine, nacelle, spinner, and inboard wing leading edges. These lights may be used to improve the visibility of the aircraft when taxiing at night or poor visibility conditions.
