Sattler manufactures serially produced design luminaires and customized luminaires, especially oversized ones, in its project-based luminaire factory in Göppingen, Germany. SATTLER LED luminaires – “Made in Germany” – are therefore coveted interior items for foyers, shops and malls, prestigious residential buildings and executive suites all over the world.
Since Sattler was founded in the late 1950s by Hans Sattler, our company has evolved from being an electrical installation business to an internationally active production company. Through the generations, necessary expertise in design, production and installation has been acquired and expanded upon. As a result, we are now looking back on more than 30 years of experience in the lighting industry and are proud to be able to offer an innovative portfolio of design luminaires with various application options.
Today, Sattler is still a family-run company. It is managed by Ulrich Sattler and his son Sven Sattler in the second and third generation. They continue to develop the company together.
In addition to the production of our catalogue luminaires, we have made it possible to respond to clients’ requests and to shape projects with unique individual lighting solutions due to our flexible production processes and immense experience in the area of custom lighting. One of our biggest strengths in this process is the close team work between our production department and our own installation team. In this way, we ensure a smooth flow between production and installation.
True to our motto “LIGHT IN NEW DIMENSIONS“, we regularly take new avenues in our production and continuously develop extraordinary luminaires and lighting solutions for the market – often together with our clients. Our products stand out due to their size and striking design as well as their manufacturing quality.
The launching of CIRCOLO, the well-known aluminum ring luminaire equipped with LED, in 2008 established SATTLER as manufacturer and designer. Other great designs and forms followed, such as TOCCATA, DOPPIO ELLIPSE, AVVENI or PALADIO. The product innovations are regularly awarded with numerous design and innovation prizes.
