Spectrum Illumination was founded in 1999 by David & Naomi Muyskens. They believed they could deliver a better lighting solution for the machine vision industry at a lower cost. This idea grew with time and Spectrum Illumination now prides itself on providing customers with excellent service, smart lighting solutions, and the full package. This means we make sure when you order a light from us you have everything you need to get it up and running. All of our signature Monster Lights come standard with light, controller, and cable. Our high quality products are backed up by our excellent support team. Our staff is here to help with product inquires, application questions, and any technical questions our customers may have. And if there is something we don’t make we’d be happy to work side by side on finding another solution just for you.
Spectrum Illumination’s products include backlights, dome lights, linear lights, diffused axial lights, oxy lights, ring lights, spot lights, and several washdown options. We also sell our patented LDM controllers, cables, and other replacement parts. Many of our newer products are outfitted for your convenience with a built-in driver. These include our E-Series of lights and our Xtreme Monster series. Our E-Series was created as an economy or budget friendly line for our customers, while our Xtreme Monster Series was created for applications that require a high intensity light. Both offer lightweight aluminum housings making them a robot-friendly weight. Each line offers a spot light option the ES40 and the XS40 as well as several linear lights sizes.
In addition to our product line, we are the proud Master Distributor of Latab Lighting in North and South America. Many of our customers had expressed interest in smaller lighting solutions as well as line lights for use in conjunction with line scan cameras. Because of this we partnered up with our Master European Distributor, Polytec, to make Latab products available to our customers.
