Founded in 2011 by gaffers and photographers. Their experience on set is the DNA of all SUMOLIGHT products. The first bicolor light was the compact SUMO100 with its interchangeable lenses and the efficient lightweight, completely passive cooling. The innovative and versatile light shaping tools like the foldable Soft Box set a new standard for the industry. It’s successor the SUMOSPACE won the Cine Gear Expo Technical Award for best Lighting Technology and is considered by many as the standard in LED space lighting. In 2019 a unique mounting system for the SUMOSPACE, the SUMOSNAP™ was developed, expanding the SUMOSPACE to a true modular lighting system.

The high-output, SUMOMAX LED light offers a distinctive hexagonal design, high lumen output and modular form factor. Designed for versatility, it can perform as a keylight, hardlight, punchlight, spacelight, or softlight. The SUMOSPACE+ is the core of the SUMOSPACE modular system. The built in SUMOSNAP™ quick-release-mount is a fast, easy to use and secure interface to truss systems, standard Junior pin or our Super 7 and Super 3 Mounts that combine multiple fixture to a larger powerful unit. SUMOLASER is a daylight point-source of unparalleled luminance that can put a precision beam of light on a stage or project miles into the sky.
