Based in Alsace, our company is manufacturing professional LED lighting since 1975. We develop, manufacture and customize lighting fixtures and light sources tailored to all lines of business in France and Europe.
Velum insure the quality of its products thanks to its know-how and rigorous French manufacturing process. Production made in France is also the guarantee of more demanding standards, the traceability of each component, a more environmentally friendly transport and the transmission of know-how.
Velum is a family business who puts people at the heart of its strategy. We support our clients from beginning to end with our tailor-made solutions designed by our experts spread across France and Europe. Our design office handles the conception of new products in line with your expectations and the specific standards of your industry.
Proud of its know-how as a French manufacturer, Velum is now part of the French Fab Movement and contributes to the prosperous development of French industry and the attractiveness of its trades.
Our partnerships with the label French Fab and the territorial brand ImaginAlsace allow us to participate in inhancing the image of the french manufacturing industry on a regional, national and even international level.
Velum remains faithful to its origins and continues to design, develop and manufacture its products in Alsace, but added later a production facility near Lyon. The two production sites combine more than 20,000 m² of production area.
180 employees in the various departments are involved in manufacturing, logistics and sales administration. Velum has also a conception and design office to innovate on new products.
