Vertically Urban is a UK-based horticultural LED lighting manufacturer, offering high-tech solutions for vertical farming and glasshouse growing. Founded by Andrew Littler, a British lighting and controls entrepreneur with more than two decades of optoelectronic experience, we are driven by our desire to be the best and constantly push the boundaries of possibility.

Our in-house team design, develop and manufacture a range of specialist horticultural LED lights for vertical farm and glasshouse applications. We incorporate the highest photon-yielding LEDs available into our unique designs to offer growing solutions that make a difference.

We are obsessive about quality, and as such, only work with a carefully selected portfolio of tier 1 electronic component suppliers. The result of this is that we offer some of the most powerful grow lights on the market with sky-high efficacies to match.

Each of our luminaires utilises the latest in LED technology and is available in several proprietary spectra to maximise suitability for your growing needs. However, we can also work with you to create a bespoke spectral solution should you require it.

Whilst our fixed spectrum products focus on efficiency, our multi-channel luminaires offer tuneable wavelength customisation (300nm to 800nm) to maximise farm versatility, more closely control the growth cycle or provide inhouse spectral research opportunities.

We design and deliver industry-leading LED grow lights and Horticulture Grow Lights for horticultural applications, our projects have a diverse reach around the globe covering a wide range of applications, such as industrial vertical farms, grow houses and glasshouses.

We also work with third-party horticultural suppliers to provide a turnkey service, designing and integrating bespoke solutions. Our LED grow lights help growers to reduce food miles and achieve local food sustainability.

Through the work of our plant science team, we take an evidence-based approach to intelligently light the farms of the future. It is through this research that we have been able to develop our powerful standard range of spectra to suit a variety of growing needs, from leafy greens to tomatoes and beyond.
