The XtraLight brand has proudly stood for lighting expertise, innovation, and genuine customer satisfaction for over 36 years. Since 1986, Houston-based XtraLight Manufacturing has designed, developed, and manufactured superior lighting fixtures. Our success was forged within our ability to innovate and adapt, such as when we developed and patented the first fluorescent high bay fixture that was designed around energy-efficiency. Always striving to provide the most efficient lighting to our customers, we pivoted to focus the bulk of our efforts on LED at the turn of the century where we will continually invest in the latest LED technology, and are committed to providing the best LED fixtures on the market.

Since the beginning, we have been dedicated to keeping our manufacturing process at home in Houston, TX. Our experienced lighting design engineers are regularly pushing the envelope to create the industry’s best LED fixtures and designing custom applications for the unique needs of our customers. Next, our advanced manufacturing facility fabricates, assembles and tests 100% of our lighting fixtures on-site before leaving the warehouse. This unique process gives us complete quality control and the ability to offer an industry leading 10-year warranty.

The American Testing and Assessment Laboratories® (ATAL) is one of currently only 36 NVLAP® accredited (NVLAP Lab Code 201019-0) facilities in North America, with accreditation to perform 50 individual types of testing in the Energy Efficient Lighting Products category. The NVLAP accreditation (NVLAP Lab Code 201019-0) provides customers the assurance needed to be flexible and successful in the continuously evolving lighting industry. Additionally, ATAL is a recognized and approved testing facility for the Design Lights Consortium (DLC) and Lighting Facts organizations. With all this in place, it assures that XtraLight products perform to the highest standards and allow the ability to offer an industry leading 10-year warranty.
