Zenatix offers a robust and scalable full-stack IoT first solution. The solution consists of intelligent edge hardware, an AI-powered cloud platform, and easy-to-use user dashboards. Zenatix has focused on in-house innovations across edge devices & their networking, cloud platforms, and end-user interfaces. We have enhanced the open-source wireless mesh OpenThread (from Google) to develop our mesh-based robust solution. It includes a wide variety of battery-powered sensors (such as temperature, humidity, luminosity, CO2, etc.) that relay data (overpowered routing nodes) to a gateway (that can be far away) using multiple hops on the mesh network.

Powered nodes also act as control nodes (such as a smart plug or a wireless PLC) beyond just being the routing nodes. The whole network is resilient to faults and opens up a wide variety of applications (ranging from deploying a large number of sensors inside/outside buildings within a campus to connected street lighting solutions spread across a large municipality).

Our state-of-the-art gateway is an open platform based on Raspberry Pi Compute Module (contains a 32-bit Quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, onboard disk, and operates on a Linux-based Operating system).

The gateway supports a wide variety of connectivity options through the plug & play modules such as 4G through an mPCIE card, WiFi/Bluetooth/OpenThread through an M.2 card, and onboard LAN. There is also a digital IO header that can be used to integrate with a variety of sensors and actuators connected directly with the gateway (besides these sensors/actuators being connected through external modules and communicating via Bluetooth/WiFi/OpenThread).

The gateway supports multiple features for rugged operation in difficult environments, including dual SIM connectivity, battery-backed RTC, onboard watchdog, battery backup, and isolated RS485 connectivity.

Our cloud-connected IoT stack is developed using open-source technologies. The IoT stack includes common IoT services such as Alerts, Time Series Database, Reports, and Dashboards.

We also have an integrated analytical platform wherein our analytical team writes models for computing business metrics from the raw streaming data. Most of the services are hosted inside a Kubernetes cluster, providing scalability as well as an easy opportunity to host them across different cloud environments.

Zenatix on-site hardware (consisting of the industrial-grade gateway and sensing/control endpoints on the multi-hope, wireless mesh) is plug & play, enabling DIY set up by third parties e.g. SIs, Facility teams, etc.
