The International Trade Show of Lighting Equipment Light is the largest lighting event in Poland. Poland is an important and dynamic market located in the heart of Central Europe. With a population of 38 million, well-educated and competitive workforce, strong prospects for economic growth and being one of the gateways to the European Union (EU), Poland is poised to become a new growth engine for global lighting manufacturers. Behind the growth of Polish lighting market is also the fact that International Fair of Lighting Equipment, an event hosted by Agencja SOMA, is becoming increasingly important.
Last year’s trade show was visited by 5,985 people. It should be noted that number of foreign visitors increase every year, which pleases both organisers and exhibitors. The visitors from abroad constituted 19.6% of all visitors.237 companies presented their offer at the fairground comprising 3 exhibition halls over 10 thousand square metres of occupied space. In addition to Polish business, also the exhibitors from the following countries presented their products: Bulgaria, China, the Czech Republic, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany, Lithuania, Turkey, Ukraine, Italy and Hungary.
The trade show was visited by guests from 42 countries, including but not limited to Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, the Balkan countries, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Georgia, Spain, the Netherlands, Israel, Qatar, South Korea, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Great Britain and Italy.
The visit to trade show is the most important date in the calendar for Polish buyers, dealers, distributors, retailers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, lighting designers, architects, engineers, project managers, service providers, electrical contractors, trade associations, and government representatives. The three-day event features a spectacular array of seminars and presentations for lighting professionals, providing an opportunity to share knowledge and experience with industry leaders.
