Founded in 2011 by Yann Maus, Fonroche Lighting is the world leader in solar street lighting. As a French company, we design, develop, manufacture and install Smartlight autonomous solar streetlights to light all types of infrastructures. Fonroche Lighting is a growing company, which has won major contracts in Senegal and Benin. Our workshops have a production capacity of around 40,000 solar-powered streetlights a year, which ship all over the world!

Fonroche’s R&D team developed our state-of-the-art solar street lighting technology by designing every component we use in our systems from scratch. The photovoltaic module and the nickel-alloy battery are entirely designed and manufactured in our ISO certified factory in Roquefort, south-west France. Designed and manufactured in France, Fonroche Lighting systems offer high-performance, cost-effective and sustainable solutions. They deliver maximum autonomy and illumination to meet the requirements of all types of customers, from local authorities and municipalities to businesses, industry and retail.
