Established in the 60s Forma e Funzione ® is is a reference point in the furniture lighting industry, manufacturring lighting systems for furniture application, shop fitting, interior design and household appliances. Design, industrialization and production of innovative lighting solutions are carried out at the company’s headquarters located in Varese (Italy), exporting products to over 40 countries. Since our foundation in the ‘60 we design and produce in Italy, today we export to more than 40 countries.

Forma e Funzione ® also provides bespoke and exclusive solutions upon customers’ specific requirements or design. Elegant and discreet design, selected materials and finishes, ingenious easy to use solutions: all Forma e Funzione ® products are at the same time innovative, flexible, efficient and with low environmental impact, therefore suitable for any application.

According to EN 62471:2008 regulation, LED products shall be classified according to ‘risk groups’ and photobiological parameters are defined (i.e. photochemical risks for the retina) for each Risk Class, fixing emission limits determined based on the wave lengths (lacking such classification the CE certification could be prevented, thereby impeding the product sale and invalidating any certification of the element where it is applied). Forma e Funzione ® LED products have been certified in the “NO RISK CLASS” (CLASS 0), in compliance with EN 62471:2008, which states their safety under any condition.

In April 2022 we became part of the L&S Group. The L&S Lighting Solutions Group with Forma e Funzione has been chosen as the central player for lighting at the Salone del Mobile 2022. We have been proud to illuminate the newest collections of the most prestigious furniture and interior design brands for living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, walk-in closets and much more.
