The collaboration between Elekon Energy Systems and Gloria Serenity Resort began eighteen years ago with the lighting automation project for the resort’s general areas. Having implemented Helvar products for the first time in this project, Elekon has been providing maintenance services to the resort ever since.

With the recent major renovation of the resort, the hotel management decided to elevate guest experience by incorporating a unique Guest Room Management System (GRMS). Elekon, having developed a sample room that impressed the hotel management, undertook the GRMS project, marking another milestone in their long-standing partnership.

Gloria Serenity Resort has successfully embraced cutting-edge technologies in lighting automation and GRMS systems, setting a new standard for guest comfort, operational efficiency, and sustainability. Elekon’s expertise and Helvar’s innovative solutions continue to make a lasting difference in the resort’s commitment to providing an exceptional hospitality experience.

Immensely scalable lighting for an extraordinary urban transformation.

Galataport is a modern port and urban transformation project in Istanbul Turkey, completed in late 2022, which features the world's first underground cruise terminal.

Given the size and nature of this giant complex, Galataport is a fantastic example of the breadth of scale achievable with a Helvar Imagine DALI lighting solution, courtesy of our local Partner, Elekon Energy Systems. Built on approximately 400,000 square meters, the project area is large enough to contain 53 football fields.

The port project is located on the shore along Istanbul’s Karaköy district, and will host several arts centers, a world-class cruise terminal, hotels and various boutiques, cafes and restaurants, along with office spaces. The terminal includes a port space capable of providing services for the world’s largest vessels, a passport terminal, check-in areas and large-scale waiting rooms.
