The enhanced gobo solution dramatically sharpens the projected image, increasing its quality while reducing light loss through improved efficiency. FLC200 Profile Projectors are designed for versatility, ideal for projecting gobos, creating defined circles of light, or illuminating polygonal surfaces with precise contours. With selectable beam angles of 20° – 39° and 39° – 48°, the FLC230-PP profile projector provides greater flexibility without sacrificing image quality. The upgrade features a higher luminous flux and improved lumen-per-watt performance compared to its predecessor.

Sustainable solutions for the night – at the City of Salisbury, South Australia

Last week in the City of Salisbury, WE-EF LIGHTING Australia / New Zealand hosted an insightful immersive event with clients from across Australia, exploring how sustainable lighting solutions can benefit both people and wildlife.

We had the privilege of hearing from Professor Theresa Jones from the University of Melbourne. She shared fascinating results from our pilot study on wildlife-sensitive lighting (we are excited to be sharing those soon, stay tuned!), particularly highlighting the success of the PC Amber lighting along Little Para River Trail. These luminaires not only improve human amenity in early mornings and evenings but also minimise disruption to wildlife, with biodiversity responding positively to natural moon cycle variations, demonstrating, quantitatively, that PC Amber is less disruptive to wildlife then traditional brighter white LEDs.

We also heard from Chris Tugwell on the importance of preserving darkness, and WE-EF’s Ronan Marsh explained critical considerations for sustainable night-time lighting solutions.

One of the highlights of the night was a coach tour of installation sites, where we jumped off the bus and donned on silent disco headsets to walk and listen to Michael Pavlovich and Craig Johansen provide an overview of the biodiversity rich paths and trails across the city of Salisbury, where several PC Amber installations have been very positively received by the local community. The group enjoyed the stroll and ambience under the warmth of PC Amber.

A huge thank you to our incredibly engaging speakers: Professor Theresa Jones, Chris Tugwell, Ronan Marsh, Michael Pavlovich, Craig Johansen and also to our wonderful Sales Partners at Buckford Illumination Group, H.I. Lighting and Integral Lighting.
